When we surrender, we melt into a realm of power already within.
The next reminder was a moment ago, during relaxation after an intense practice. My mind was jumping around about all the things I hadn't done / needed to do. I remembered to let the fuck go, I laughed out loud, then simultaneously melted into the ground and floated. The most intense feeling of just 'this moment' flooded over me and whilst only brief, was utter bliss.
This is what we mean by surrender. Not retract or retreat but to stop fighting, let down our armour and discover the inner strength that is ALWAYS available to us. The world softens as we soften.
Will I forget? Yes, but that's what so beautiful, we are always learning. Forgetting and then remembering.
I hope this allows you to remember for a moment, and sink into the grace of true surrender.
